Default Re: Hill Help?

Andy - My FNR looks nothing like that. It's the regular ezgo series type, but has been beefed up with Scotty's upgraded cam. When I said HD, I meant Heavy Duty. Sorry if I made things confusing.

lmswest - Don't get me wrong, the thing will pull the front wheels from a stand still and could flip it upside down from reverse to forward. Plenty of torque at the low end. It's when I'm cruising at full speed and start into a good size incline. I know it'll loose some, but I just think it's loosing too much.........Seems wrong to me that a fresh charge 53-52 volts will drop to 43 volts at times when negotiating a hill.

Scotty - hopefully over the holiday/weekend I can get some load voltages posted for you. Should record voltages under load on flat ground, or on the hills I'm refering to?

Sametime? 6 batteries, and 1 meter = can't do at sametime........
I would like to install a selector switch on my indash voltmeter, so I can flip through each battery on the same run. Any thoughts or ideas Scotty?

Wink Re: Hill Help?

Just wasn't sure of which one u used.

If the cart is dropping down to that kind of voltage I would guess there is a battery problem. Even if they are new batteries.
