Default ezgo upgrade ???

ok is this right
i have hd solenoid
hd f/r switch
4 gauge cables
added 2 more batteries 48 volts

so can use a 550 amp controller wjth my stock 36v motor
could i use a 700 amp controller with stock motor and upgrade the motor later

i want torque speed is not importantand want run big tires
thanks
give me any suggestions that could help

yes you can use a 550 controller with your stock motor.....or the 700, but do you REALLY need to run that much current to your motor?? just what do you plan of doing with your cart.

You will need a 48 volt controller along with a 48 volt charger are use a 12 volt to charge the extra 2 batteries.

I don't think I would run over 500amps to a stock motor! The motor will ask for what ever amps it has to and on a stock motor anything over 500amps is going to be a lot more than it should see I would think.

i already have a 48v charger both controllers are 36 or 48 v planning on 26 inch tires and some off road use i understand the700 is overkill for stock motor but will be upgrading motor in the winter
