EZGO TXT DCS throttle wide open

I have a 99 ezgo DCS cart with Alltrax 400 on 36v. It has been running fine for a while now and the other day it started acting up. Whenever I press the accel pedal it goes full throttle, even if I ease onto the pedal, still wide open. It will jerk ur head back.

I cleaned the ITS module and check the wiring in the ITS box behind the accel pedal. It has a little water in it, but nothing seamed bad.

Any other ideas? I'll hook my Alltrax up to my computer today and check the settings. But I haven't had any power issues to think it would have gotten reset for any reason.

Any water or even heavy moisture can adversely effect the ITS output.

Dry out the ITS box completely with a hairdryer and see if that doesn't fix the problem

Thanks Scotty, I'll try that, although I'll have to sneak away my wife's hairdryer, I've been shaving my head for years...

Well I tried using a blow dryer to dry out the ICS module. And no change. I also cleaned up the connectors and nothing. I'm gonna hook up my computer to my Alltrax dcx and make sure all the settings are properly set.

Would a faulty ITS cause this problem? Or anything with the plunger?

It all seems lined up correctly. Connectors seem fine and I've dried out the ITS. Not sure what else it could be unless the ITS is faulty.

Is the plunger set to the right setting. There is a procedure on here on how to set it up.
I don't know if it will cause this problem are not but would be a good starting point.
