looking to upgrade need some info
Hi got a 2000 cc 48v lift with back seat with brand new Trojan t875. Looking for some more torque. What would be the easiest thing to do? Just controller, motor, both? And maybe some info on what you guys recommend. Thanks in advanced

The stock controller is 225 amps, 80a solenoid, 4g cables. You need a 500a controller. This will allow the motor to access 2xs the amperage which it will use to make more torque. You need a bigger solenoid, 2g cables, and HD F&R to deliver that amperage. Hope this helps and welcome to BGW

The bigger controller will help a lot. Amps = torque.

The SPM controllers from Alltrax are very nice for series carts. The 500 amp unit has a max output of 570a. That would give lots of torque .... of course there is a 700a FSIP (GE) for max torque with those big aftermarket motors ...
