What kind of glue is used to put the rubber clips on the Plexiglas windshields? Thanks

I use a 3M product made for glueing trim molding on cars. Works great and the tube is re sealable. Sorry, don't have the part number nearby, but any auto parts store will have it.

I used 100% clear silicone. Seems to be working ok and figure if it comes loose the extra should peel of easy.

In used JB weld after thick super glue failed.

As an aside, if you ever need a glue that will stick to just about anything, Marine Tex is a 2-part epoxy that is about the consistency of Marshmallow Fluff. The results aren't pretty, but it will stick to just about anything.
