Harbour Freight Earthquake
I had some cash from my harley golf cart engine parts on ebay so I decided to get a better impact gun.I got a deal on a harbour freight earthquake 700 ft/lb unit. It arrived yesterday .It is really nice. It will join my old 2" long anvil 1/2 " HF unit that is 15+ years old and still working fine.

Re: Harbour Freight Earthquake
That's a good impact, I have an og earthquake 3/8s" impact, it hits just as good as my IR impact

Re: Harbour Freight Earthquake
Thanks for sharing,
I have been looking at that impact for a while, every time I get a flyer I want one but I'm not sure if it's as good as the specs. list. It should snap bolts on full torque setting Let us know when you use it a few times. |

Re: Harbour Freight Earthquake
I've had one for 5 or 6 years. Never had a problem with it except the little c-clip that serves as the socket retainer has always made it a pain to get sockets off of it.
Small problem for a $80 impact. |

Re: Harbour Freight Earthquake
Bump, If the HF 700 lbs Earthquake doesn't get that crankshaft bolt loose I don't know what will. I looked to see what I paid for it. It was $63 delivered from E bay.
