Welding on a cart ?
I have to weld a previous repair to the battery box on my 1994 Medalist.
What, if any precautions to protect the motor, control box, etc.. do I need to take before welding? Can I ground the welder to the cart? Thanks |

Re: Welding on a cart ?
Since it is battery tray work the batts will already be out, just remember heat travels really well through aluminum so you may need some wet towels in place to protect any close plastics.
I keep the ground lead fairly close to the work area. |
