Default Recommendations: multi cart trailers

I am wanting to have my father, who lives in florida, near Tampa, buy carts that are 5-20 years old that are worth fixing and/or rehabing. When he gets 6 or 8 of them, make a run from Indiana down there and pick up the carts. I have noticed the carts down there are 25-40 % cheaper than up in the area I am from, for the same carts in simular condition.

My question is, does any one out there have very positive experiences or very bad ones that they can share toward buying the right trailer. They are a big investment and I don't want to buy the wrong one

Thanks for the help.

Robin

If you are looking for an open trailer, you cannot go wrong with aluminum.

What part of Indiana are you going to be living in? Get a trailer that if he finds a good deal on a car or truck you could haul it. Be versatile. Good luck.

Double axle is a given, and I think you want surge brakes instead of electric brakes for this load range, but don't quote me on that.

to haul 6 carts your looking at a 24 footer, each cart 4x8=32sqft x 6= 192sqft / 8x24=192

I thought trailers weren't tagged in Wisconsin at all.
