Tidy up'd my building
Its been getting cramped in my shop with all the metal I usually just store on the floor. I built an 18 foot rack to hold tubing on the left wall and then another 8 foot rack that goes along the back wall by the door. Next I would like to build some new doors because these are heavy and falling down. Any ideas on what materials I could use to make the new ones light weight? They are about 8'x10' and split in half to open up.

Nice job on the storage racks. A great way to organize and store steel.

Re: Tidy up'd my building
from what i couldd tell in the pics, it looks like wood siding or t-11 barn siding. (rough cut plywood with plankscut in them) have you thought of recreating the doors with the same simular, but putting them on sliders, they will slide to the side, not swing open. if you have the room on the side that is. you just have to add a track on the header to surport the door.
