Default Welder Cart

Did a search and found some good ideas.

I was thinnen about a table or top on a cart to tack tings
up on. I am short a piece of plate steel to do that at
this time. I do have a 22"x36" granite sink cutout.
Your ideas about a welding deck above the welder and granite
for temporary?

What I have found in my shop is...If there is an empty flat surface some where it rapidly become a catch all, and very cluttered. Have to clean everytime I want to take pics.

Yep I do the same, 2 extra steps and I could put it where
it belongs. The time saved is wasted in looking and clean up.
Maybe a flip top with the belt sander and grinder would work.

The glory of a good fab table is that you can tack pieces to it like an axel and then cut out the section and replace it with something different like a lifted piece. By doing this you don't lose the camber/ angle. Can't do this with granite and if you miss hit the granite with a hammer look out........

I have to start over, wanted room for the feed conduit in front of the machine and pushed it back on cart so I had to raise it to clear the tank.
Long story short it is tippy. going to cut it apart and rethink.
