Talking My New Garage

Work started on Monday, and the guys had 5 good days this week. Dug the holes and poured concrete on Monday. The poles went up on Tuesday, then framing, trusses and more framing and bracing. Today they did the soffit, facia and rakes. Framed in the windows and walk door, and the headers over the 2 large doors.

It's 30'x40' with 9 1/2' ceiling--10' doors on the end and an 8' door on the back. 3 windows and a walk door on the side that faces the road. They aren't working tomorrow, and I've got to get back to work so I go home on Sunday. I'll be back down next Friday--hope the metal will be up by then.

Thanks, Scotty. No--they need to fill in some towards the back and pour a 4" slab after the building is done. Also, a 20' pad in front of the doors.
