Floor coating
Hey guys, I am trying to find a decent epoxy coating for my garage floor. I bought the Rust-o-leum kits from a local hardware store and I was told it was junk... Anyone have any ideas, pics or tips on where to buy the "good stuff?" Need to keep it reasonably priced also

Re: Floor coating
I've had the Rustoleum on my shop floor for 10 years and it has held up well.

Re: Floor coating
When I built my garage about 5 years ago, I put down a waterproofer and I am regretting it now... Still trying to research on how to remove it or etch it...

Re: Floor coating
There are many good one and two part floor epoxies available. I'm a painter and I do this fairly often. Rustoleum is a good brand. Most manufacturers have a good one also. Sorry, I cannot remember the name of the one I usually use. Just read the label well. You should find a quality floor epoxy for under $40 per gallon.
An acid etch should get rid of sealer on a floor. Good luck folks! |
