Default Yamaha G1-G22 Drive Clutch Puller

Does anyone have the dimensions of this crazy $40 part. I will only use once and prefer not to spend $40 to replace a $5 gasket. I have heard of some DIY bolt and hard metal piece as suplement. just need dimension of OEM part and thread type. Thanks

It is a 14 mm thread. Same as a spark plug thread. I made mine by drilling out a spark plug and welding in a rod the correct length.

Retrospect... that was a dumb question. I can figure that out. Thanks for the tip Dave. I see you are in Ontario. I am in Caledon...any chance you have any G22 parts for sale?

I was wondering on this Tool could a person Purchase a Tap with 14M X 1.00 Thread Pitch ,,,

14mm X 1 Metric HSS Right Hand Thread Tap M14 X 1.0mm Pitch - Amazon.com 14mm X 1 Metric HSS Right Hand Thread Tap M14 X 1.0mm Pitch - Amazon.com
14 Dollars

then assemble a Push rod in the end to make up the difference in Length ..
why would you need to weld, it it just butts against it ,,,,Should do the Job of pushing the clutch Out ..

Lot cheaper

also I see Dies on Amazon as well for the Same
