Custom work bench
Hey Guys
We are just finishing up our new cart shop, and what shop would be complete without a man size work bench. So we thought we would do a small post on our new work bench that we built. |

Re: Custom work bench
As you can see we simply purchased a couple large tool boxes and built frame work around them to incorporate the boxes into the bench. We also built one big compartment at the end, this will house our 2 TIG welding machines, 1 MIG welding with aluminum spool gun, 1 water cooler for the torches, and 1 plasma cutter.
The idea behind this work bench was to be able to close everything up and the shop would be completely clean of any tools. So that when we have events at the shop everything is extremely clean. |

Re: Custom work bench
We blended all the welds out and installed the large fold up checker plate door for hiding all the equipment. We then did a brush finish to the entire unit. Once we get it to the new shop we will bolt it to the wall, install the ply wood and recycled rubber work top and wire the plugs in, and it will be ready to go!

WOW. I really like the aluminum. The welding table is also cool. Mine is only half that size, but thats what she said. Very nice

Re: Custom work bench
I was thinking I could just showcase it for you, kind of like a demo model.

Re: Custom work bench
I've been know to have my moments every now and then.
Usually I get some pretty strange looks though, when I have one of those moments. |
