Glass Or Metal Repair

When I get to do some repairs when I need some reinforcement, I use fiberglass drywall tape, or even use some paper towel and superglue to do a support system to be able to start the finished glass or bondo.

Then there is the use of rivets in many different app's.

Do you Boy's and Girl's have any other tricks of modification ? ?

I've used Scott paper towels (the heavy shop paper towels) many times to do glass patches, they set up as well as glass mat every time.
