SNAP Ring Pliers? What do you use?
Those that are significant mechanics, what brand or model of snap ring pliers do you use. I am fed up with cheap tools and am looking for a good quality set that I will mainly use on items like Axle shafts for ezgo and club cars and for input shafts. Welcome any input..
These look interesting

For CC axle use Snapon 90 degree pliers, Ezgo Axles use whatever you got.

Scott is right, buy the size dedicated kind, the "kit" type never seem to hold up.

Yup,Either Snap-On or their "low-buck" brand Blue-Point.I have a few sets of the Blue-Points that I bought 20yrs. ago,and they still work great. As they say,you get what you pay for.I do but occassional stuff from Harbor, but I'm careful,I only buy certain items that I know the cheaper stuff will be ok.Trust me,I save when I can,Snap-on has gotten almost 100k from me in the past 20yrs!

Re: SNAP Ring Pliers? What do you use?
I have a couple of pairs of Sears Craftsman, multiple bit snap ring pliers. I've broken the small bits over the years, but never the larger bits or the pliers themselves! Sears replaced the bits under warranty! I would recommend these to everyone that wants a decent tool! Now, the ones I have are 25 years old so I'm not sure how good their new ones are. If they're still made in the U.S.A. , I'd say the quality would still be good!
