Default Club Car DS self adjusting brakes

I am replacing brake pads on my 1997 Club Car DS. I have been reading that the self adjuster tends to over do its job. Should I just remove the self adjuster or does that cause other problems?

Default Re: Club Car DS self adjusting brakes

My experience was that they tended to malfunction after about 12-15 service. Replace them ($15 @ side) and enjoy the ride.
