re: more power
I have the powermax 16 hp and I think it is a good motor. The clonies pretty much bolt right in maybe have to modify mounting hole a little. The 16 hp is 420cc It has plenty of pwer for what I do with it.

Re: more power
Welcome Harleyranger,
I just bought the 16hp Powermax engine and I'm installing it in a 2003 ezgo txt. It is not a drop in and you're burning tires in a few minutes. It takes some planning and learning and modifying. At least this has been my experience with the ezgo. It may be better with other manufactured carts. There are a few threads here on the "Clone" engines. Start reading, because the info here is priceless. Good Ventures, Bud |

Re: more power
Oh, a CJ5... I have many great memories of blazing off road in a CJ5 that belonged to a very good friend.... many years ago.
I will be posting more in another thread about the "clone", as I progress. Good Luck!~ Bud |
