Default What cart do I have?

So I've just purchased a cart. Petrol powered club car, it has a FE290 engine.

What type is it so I can get further info on it like oil types and filters etc...

Thank you in advance!

club car DS. Look on the metal part of the frame below and to the right the steering column for a serial number.

It has been scratched off... Well, what looks like a sticker was previously removed...

Take a picture up under the back end so we can see what transaxle you have. We should be able to nail down the model year within a couple of years. Judging by the seat alone it looks like it will fall between 1992-1999.

1993-2000 is a little closer range. Body and bumpers and steering wheel are 93+ and in 2000 they split the model year, first half had the aluminum seat braces and two piece backs, second half had the newer one piece backs and black bracing. Regardless it'll have the FE290, but somewhere in there they switched transaxle rotation (97?) so you gasser guys will have to help with that one. Also, sticker serial numbers began in, or somewhere around, 1995 I believe, earlier models still had the stamped metal tag riveted on.

Hope this helps.

Yeah you're right. A '92 would have still had the fiberglass body with the removable fender flares. Also factoring in his newer-looking double cupholders I'm going to guess it's a late '90s (or early 2000) model.

Where can I find parts for these in Australia like rear seat and roof? Also missing the rear cover just behind the seats

I'm having issues with a hesitation in the cart. I've pulled down the carb and cleansed it thoroughly as well as the fuel pump.

I'm toying with the idea of replacing the carby with an ebay item. I'm wondering people's experiences with these? Should I not waste my time or are they ok?
