Unhappy Throttle pedal binding

My Club car was left idle for several months. Then the gas pedal would not move without a very hard push. I used WD-40 on all pivot points and loosened a bit but still very tight. Any suggestions? Serial number is AG0038-935007.

get the slides freed up from on the rod and then take and slide them back to remove the rod so you can clean them up with some sand paper or wire brush then go about lubing the pivot points on the pedal , also in the black box under the seat where the throttle linkage attaches you can pull the linkage out and check and lube that shaft then on to the cables check for binding in them and lube as needed , after taking the rod and the linkage out you will quickly be able to tell where it is binding

Mine did the same thing but I used pb blaster on every part that touched.
I let it sit for a day, pushed the pedal back and forth, then shot some more.
It freed up good enough. Now after sitting for a few months its stuck again.

once the aluminum oxidizes it doesn't want to let go it took me to get one over an hour to get it to work a lot of spray and moving the peddle

The pedal was stuck on mine, I tried spray lubes and got a little movement but not as good as I wanted. I ended up taking the bellcrank and shaft off and cleaned everything well. Now it works as good as new.
