Default I know what it is...but what is it?

Remanufactured serial number is 2H1249-xxxxxx. No problem, its a ds model remanned in the first week of december 2012. Now, I lift the remanned serial number tag just enough to see the number behind it and it says AQ0920, which indicates its an electric cart. Is it possible that the factory put a engine on an electric cart chassis? Are they that similar? Looking to do add ons to the cart I want to make sure the parts i order are for the right frame. Will this determine what kind of lift kit I buy? Nice engine though.. a remanned FE350 that runs outstanding!

That's weird. I've never heard of something like that

The gas and electric carts are basically the same, the biggest differences are under the seat(rear-axle,wiring,shift-linkage,pedal-linkage,misc.brackets,etc..),and mostly bolt-in,so yes, they can be converted,we've done it,its not very complicated when you have the correct parts.

Maybe Club Car had a shortage on gas frames and used electric ones to keep stuff flowing

Lockman, I thought the same thing. Went down to my basement and read the numbers. Then I came back upstairs to check the serial number per the sticky. I saw that the AQ meant a electric. I was so convinced I read the number wrong that I went back down stairs to check again. Its a Q, no doubt.

maybe my cart wont know that it changed sides. Perhaps it always wanted to be a fossil burner. Or it might run so quiet, that no white tail will ever hear it come. Maybe there's a disgruntled employee at CC that scans these forums waiting for this question to be posted. He laughs while in his mothers basement! IDK.

Based on the year/s of my cart, and the possibility that it used to be an electric, I still need help ordering the right lift kit. For some reason, when I pop off the hub caps, I notice that the bearing dust covers are missing...both sides. For most of the lift manufactures, i must know if the dust covers are plastic or silver prior to ordering. Based on the year of my cart 09 or 12, which do I order?

Either way, you had the black dust caps on the cart. The silver ones stopped being used by CC halfway through 2003
