Default 94 Club Car won't start when hot

I have a 94 gas club car stock motor. It starts and runs great but will not restart when it is warmed up for 10 minutes or so. When it cools down it starts fine again. I have replaced the sparkplug, the coil, solinoid, air filter, fuel filter, oil, also tested the Rev limiter by disconnectin ground. And checked the wires for ground out. I did find a warn spot on the ignitor wire but fixed that. I'm out of things to test. Any ideas?

First test would be to remove the ground wire from your rev limiter. If it runs without issues its bad. you can continue to run without a rev limiter but you risk blowing the motor. Rev Limiter is #22 in Diagram attached.

If you still have issues the next place to look would be the ignitor which is behind the rev limiter. you will need to replace this to test. You can save a good amount by purchasing a John Deere instead of Club car model on Ebay. JOHN DEERE KAWASAKI IGNITION MODULE #M70114

Ok it still runs with Rev limiter ground off. So it's the ignitor making it not restart When it gets hot. I will try ignitor. Thank You.

One more thing ncsu4life. when I test the spark with plug removed before I can touch it to motor for ground it sparks to the motor about an inch long. is that normal.

It was the Rev limiter that was bad. Fully removed it and she runs great. Thanks

Does this mean you completely are running without a rev limiter or did you replace it with a new one? I have the same issue as you but haven't tried this yet.
