94 DS steering/Delta issue

Hey all, used this site for help numerous times in the past. It's great.

I'm working on a 94 DS and the Delta appears to be a mess. I'm installing a Jakes 3" spindle kit. The angle of the tie rod out of the rack to the spindle is tremendous. Does anyone have a good pic of what it "should" look like? I know it's angled but no way is it this much.
I'm thinking a new Delta may be in order? Thank you all

Can you post a pic so we can see what you are dealing with? you should be able to tellif it's bent or been modified.

This is my 07 with a Jake's 3" spindle...
The angle of the tie rod end from the gear box wasn't bad!

I installed a new tie rod, end, and rack assembly also. Either the Delta is way bent or the Jakes tie rod link is wrong.

Is it the Jake's 6231-3LD?

It appears that the bracket for the gearbox tie rod end is facing backwards, when it should be facing forwards!

I'm thinking that somehow you got the wrong lift kit!

Call the distributor that you got it from tomorrow, and explain your problem, Hopefully they'll remedy it!

Yikes. That's not good. Box says
Club Car DS 3" Spindle lift kit LD
1984-2004.5 electric & 1996.5-2004.5 gas w/metal hub cover
6231-3 LD

It's a 94 gasser. Something ain't right.
