I have probably missed this, but what is the average HP on a 97 CCar
I have a 97 club car with a clone motor, and I have yet to disable the governor.
My neighbor asked me what horsepower the motor is, and I had to tell Him I do not know- When I first got the cart, I post picks of this blue clone motor and people said it was a harbor freight clone. The reason he was asking, a buddy of his had a 16 HP B&S vanguard horizontal shaft motor for $100. ( well that did not last on Craigslist 5 hours) and its gone I see these big block conversion- I just wanted to know, if I would be getting into more trouble, with other folks driving the cart, Kids and grandkids and just do some simple upgrades. How much will having a more efficient exhaust work- ( my buddy builds exhaust systems for his harley all the time) the motor has extremely low hours on it- So any suggestions |

The big clones stock usually run in the 12 to 14hp range.
You will get more hits if you post in the clone forum. |
