When taking off from a stop in my 2007 Club Cart Prec

I have a 2007 Club Prec as i push gas pedal the motor starts then what I believe is the secondary clucth delays and clunks when engaging. I removed the secondary clutch (belt very hard to get off for the first time, meaning hard to separate clutch plates, was never this hard before) once I removed clucth from axle, I removes plates to lube. Only thing I noticed where the 2 plates rub together, it looks to be rubbing hard as the texture there is bad compaired to where the belt runs..
Anyone run in to this concern and know what the problem really is?

Its almnost like doing a nuetral drop in your car. It jerks your head when this happens..

Has it always done it? I'm assuming not... Sounds similar to a high stall setup but not sure about golf cart clutches (allows motor to build rpm before clutch engaging). I'm not familiar with golf carts so take anything I've said as just throwing a guess out. On a SXS that's adjustable in the primary clutch with weights and springs. Good luck.
