1995 club car ds seat upgrade
If I buy a complete seat back and bottom for a 2000.5+ ds, will it fit no problem on my 1995 ds?

That will convert it all. But I was starting with a new build, you may already have parts already. That's how I did, I'm not sure that you can just change the seat back, they mount differently to roof bracket. |

CCF, so what ur saying is that to use the new one piece seat back would require no new mounting hardware, the brackets on my 92 are the same as the newer carts?

Oops, I only saw the bottom part. The bottom would work fine, the one piece back would require the newer struts / roof

Re: 1995 club car ds seat upgrade
Good question as I have older carts and a newer back rest setup.
What exactly is the difference on the roof supports to the seat back mount? |

Thanks for the replies. I'll look into how the newer ds's roof brackets are. I was hoping the 1 piece backrest would have the same bolt pattern as my older 2 piece seat brackets.

Re: 1995 club car ds seat upgrade
I have a 94 and want to add a rear seat and convert the front seat back to a use a single back on the front seat. Are you guys saying purchase the rear seat for a DS2000 and get the top and braces and front seat back and it will bolt up?

Yes but the roof will have to be the newer style and if you go with windshield it to is new style
if you are adding a rear seat then it comes with the rear supports that hold the newer seat back |

Re: 1995 club car ds seat upgrade
Thanks so much, my local golf shop has plenty of these parts left over from customizing, so let me confirm what you are saying, if I get these used items from my local golf shop for a DS 2000-up:
1. Top and frame. 2. Seat Back (one piece) 3. Windshield Then just order a rear seat kit for the DS2000-up and get the tool box out I should be good to go and it look like the picture you sent? |
