2003 club car DS rev limiter
Been fighting my 2003 club car DS with no spark issues. Had no spark and dealer told me to disconnect and tape brown wire from rev limiter..still no go, replaced spark plug, still no go... Replaced both micro switches in black box by air cleaner, still no go... Replaced coil,,, finally ran for a day then quit. Tonight I disconnected one of the black wires from the rev limiter to I believe the cool and it fires up... Question is.. Is my rev limiter shorted to ground internally ? Can I just do away with limiter and tape the black wire as well if I install a tack ? Or should I just bite the bullet and purchasexandbindtall a new limiter?
Thanks in advance... These problems sure interrupted my campground cruising at Sturgis 75th Rally |

Re: 2003 club car DS rev limiter
The rev limiter can be removed, however not recommended if the governor is bypassed.
