1987 club car started hesitating
We have a nice 87 club car we've been driving with no problems for a few years. Starting to act like its running out of gas, the choke will sometimes help keep it running. The problem is kind of intermittent, it runs good for a while then hesitates and won't run well. I have put new filters and the gas is clean. I have not rebuilt or adjusted the carb or checked the fuel pump.
Is there anything obvious it could be? Can the carb and fuel pump be rebuilt? I've seen some aftermarket replacements for both but not sure of their quality. Where is the best place to buy those if I need to? Thanks for any ideas! |

Carbs are easily rebuildable, usually just a good cleaning with carb cleaner is all they need.
Maybe fuel pump isn't doing very well. Cheap solution buy another evens Briggs one. Or maybe its a firing issue |

Try cleaning the brass filter on the outside of the fuel pump with some brake cleaner. Sometimes they can clog with dust and hinder fuel delivery. Takes 5 minutes and no tools needed.
