Default club car losing rpms

2002 club car carryall II/ kawasaki fe290 eng.
this car will start right up and run fine at
full throttle for 1 or 2 mins. then it drops to very
low rpms and will not rev back up, but it does not
shut off.
shut it dowm and wait about 1 min. and it will do
the same thing.
so far we have replaced the fuel pick-up tube in the
tank, the filter, all fuel lines, the pump and the
carburator.disconnected the rpm limiter.
nothing seems to help, could sure use some help
thank you.

Thumbs up Re: club car losing rpms

first I want to say I am NOT a mechanic by any means.to me it sounds like you're getting too much fuel when the engines cold it can use more fuel as it warms up to much fuel. I would check to see if your choke is stuck on or dirty air filter. could possibly be dirty carburetor as well.your spark plugs should tell you if you're running too rich or too lean. Tulane starving for fuel will be white if it's running too which it will be wet and darker.if you're running too lean and starving for fuel it may be that you don't have a correct vent. when it starts acting up open the gas cap if you hear an air suction you don't have a enough ventilation. before you pull your carburetor take air filter off while it's running spray with carburetor cleaner may clean up your carburetor. I hope this helps
