Default 89 club cart help

Hey guys i just picked up a club cart and i have no idea on how to fix club carts so any help will help me get it going

I have these 5 wires and i need help finding the locations please


U can see the wires in the pic going to the switch thing ??


I then found this wire thats grounded to the bottom of the motor ???



Cart number for year ??? add a A in front of the G

yes that is a ground wire to frame and motor

For that wire can i use a piece of thick copper since its chewed up ?

i would not as the motor moves a little
a ground strap from a auto parts store will work

I got the cables hooked up and got it to turn over but the clutch on the motor spins backwards is that normal? ? In forward and reverse position ?

Backwards? If you mean Counter Clockwise... then Yes, that's the way it's supposed to turn!

I grounded that thick wire and still no spark, one of the switches thats in the box is not working can that be a reason why there is no spark ???
