Default Fe290 No Compression

Hey Everyone!

Working on a 1995 FE-290 (it is a replacement engine).

It has Zero Compression. After pulling the valve cover, the valves are going up/down, but it appears that all the compression is leaking from a reed valve on the exhaust side of the head.

Can those reed valves go bad? (Part # 16126-2107)

I mean, there is Zero compression. Engine stopped suddenly.

Thought I would ask before pulling it out.

Appreciate any help!

Rhys
