New clutches or rebuild old ones
I'm a newbie so I've been asking a lot of questions and preciate the help. The clutches are worn out on my 01 CC because I use it pulling a lot around the house. They are rattling and clattering the whole time it's running. Sometimes when I stop I can here the drive clutch pop when it disengages seconds later. My question is should I rebuild the old ones or replace them with something a little heavier duty and if so what do you suggest. I will be doing both of them.

I got a clutch from this guy...I think I paid $110.00 shipped to me!! Here is what I got to recommend him...... Bill he lives in Batesville Indiana by the Ohio border. here is a quote from his last email to me. "I'm a 20 year golf course mechanic. I go to Club Car service school every year for updates. I will guarantee them to work properly. The 82-87 CC I machine for the 15/16 belt. This machining works great on the other years for a little extra speed because the belt runs higher." his name is Tom and here is his email pamgutzwiller@aol.com Bill |
