Hour Meter Install - 07' DS
Evenin' guys
Just a quick question for everyone, Im wanting to add an hour meter to our cart to keep the service's on a regular schedule. I know I could tap into 12v behind the switch, but that would run the meter whenever the key is on. I'm trying to figure out where to tap into 12v for when the engine is running. Looking at this diagram (read somewhere here the 99 diagram is still valid for 07's) there are four limit switches. Im assuming the two up near the F/N/R selector is the backup buzzer and the neutral safety? The two near the middle, I'm assuming, are the engine start and engine kill? Assuming that is correct, tapping into power from the Orange wire between the limit switch and the starter selonoid SHOULD give me +12v only while the gas pedal is depressed? Or am i completely off here? Side note, does anyone know where this diagram came from so i can see what the number "bubbles" correspond to? |
