Default Club car xrt800 problem

I have a club car xrt 800. I have a few problems....
1)There is a ezgo ignition switch on it, the factory wire harness fits on the ignition.. Does that need to be replaced? Will it work, are the wire designation the same?

2)on the micro switches for the gear selector, it seems to be missing a piece because when I push the forward micro switch the starter will begin to spin very slowly. Attached is a pic

3) if I jump out the starter, it seems that it is spinning slow, almost like the battery is dead, I assume the starter needs to be replaced

4) is there a micro switch for the gas pedal to make the starter start?

Any info on this would help as I am mechanically inclined but new to carts

In the photo the neutral lockout cam (maintenance mode switch) is missing. It would be helpful to the members here if they new the year of the cart.

Not sure of the year, I looked around for the spec plate and can't find it. I am gonna assume it's like a 05.. It has the Kawasaki fe290d motor. Here is a pic maybe this can help

On page 13-8 of this manual http://bennettgolfcars.ca/upfile/man...1116090347.pdf it is items 9 thru 12 in the parts list.

Under your seat there should a black electrical box, the lower limit should be the engine kill switch. The upper switch should be the start limit switch. These work on the cam which is rotated by the foot pedal.

There is an electrical diagram for the cart.

Looking at the electrical drawing it appears there are no limit switches in the electrical box unlike a club car DS. It looks like you have a forward limit switch that gives your solenoid a ground to start the engine. the ignition switch kills the engine. Sorry for the wrong info.

Thanks for the info, in the elec box there def isn't a switch attached to the peddle rod. I will look to see if I can figure it out, I still think the starter motor is bad, I jumped it out and it spins very slow

This service manual http://www.golftechs.us/Manuals/XRT%20Service.pdf has a test procedure for your starter/generator. Your problem could be just the brushes.
