Need Help!! Tachometer Settings

Hey Guys.

I grabbed one of those wire to the spark plug tachometer / hour meters from online. I was setting up. I know its a stupid question, but does my Club Car Precident 2014 fire once per revolution? Thats what I thought and I set it to that but it seems low to me. I hear guys saying there RPM's are a lot higher. My was topping out at 3700, i have the Jakes 6 inch lift and 21" tires. I played around with the gas cable and govoner too.

It could be right. I thought though it would be higher.

Twice per revolution, it fires on the compression stroke and the exhaust stroke.
