Default Touchy Pedal

06 CC Gasser, will only crank and run if you slowly press down on the pedal. If you just get on the cart and step on it like my wife and grandson does then it will only turn over but won't start? It will however eventually crank with the pedal down if you hold in the choke button for an extended period of time? Is there something I can adjust for pedal position or is their something else going on?

I'd start with checking the fuel pump and filter. If it starts while choked sounds like your not getting enough fuel. There is a brass screen on the pump that can get plugged in dusty conditions. Use carb clean and try spraying it out.

Yeah when this first started I was thinking the same thing so I changed the fuel pump and the fuel lines and then the filters and then the carb
This has never done it before until the coil went out and I had it changed by the local cart shop here by my beach lot. The same place where I bought the cart a few years ago when it went out and every since I got it back I've had this sort of "sweet spot" when I step on the pedal? The cart runs fine and starts up just fine as long as the wife or the grandson don't just stomp down on the pedal. I was just wondering if someone else had ever had this "touchy pedal" situation happen to them or maybe heard of it before?

You said this started after the coil was replaced? Just to eliminate simple things try disconnecting the ground wire on your rpm limiter. Its an off white wire located on the front of the motor down by the drain plug.
