slip collar nut deal
Well I learned a new lesson this evening, of course by breaking something. I was going to adjust the throttle linkage, and from what I understand it should be 3/4 - 1 inch movement at the top of the peddle before the engine kicks in. While loosing up the lock nuts on the rod from thre peddle to the electrical box I broke the little part that slips over the ball joint on the peddle end. I did not know I could just slip it back and pop it off. So while trying to loosen the lock nut I split the slide collar.
Where do I find one of those? |

Re: slip collar nut deal
Well, there's a new one!
most people break the ball, and not the joint! That part is called a ball joint... CC part #1011734 It's a pretty common replacement part, here's just one for example... https://www.golfcartking.com/club-ca...joint-end-cap/ |
