Club car carryall 2 gas exhaust valve-HELP!!
Carry all 2 2001 with fe350 engine. Started to smoke white on high revs or towing up a hill. Then would not fire up. Looked at exhaust valve and the lifter had fallen off the rocker arm. Could it be the valve is stuck. There is so much play that there is no way to adjust.
I am going to try wd40 and see what happens. I imagine the head has to come off. Also,,, compression is about 115 with a cheap guage. I am 50 miles from home so I am trying for an easy fix to avoid hauling it home Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks |

Re: Club car carryall 2 gas exhaust valve-HELP!!
Moved to CC gas and a courtesy bump...
FE350's have hydraulic lifters, so the rocker arms are not adjustable, I does sort of sound like a stuck/bent valve, or carbon build up on the head, If you can wait a day or so, maybe someone might have experienced something similar, if not? get it home and pull the head! |
