Default Axle tube gaskets

Locally and online, I am having a hard time finding the gaskets that go between the cases and axle tubes. This is on a '92 CC.

I've considered cutting my own gaskets if I can find the gasket material that is about the same thickness. I've also considered forgoing the gaskets and using an engine case sealer (yamabond) used on dirt bike engines. Especially if I use the case sealer I would think I'd need to eliminate one of the shims (mine had 2).

Has anyone else run into this problem and how did you work around it?

Thanks

I've cleaned carefully with brake cleaner and used RTV silicone. Your Yamabond should work fine. The gaskets were so thin that a decent film thickness of sealer should be close enough to not require any shim changes.

I forgot to follow-up on this one.

I put the cases together with the yamabond and also used that to seal up the axle tubes. I did have to remove one shim. If I tried to use both, the axle tube wouldn't come into contact with the case.
