Carryall transaxle only has forward
it will not let me change title so put it here. carryall. wasnt thinking entire drivetrain came from carryall. when trying to shift out of foward the rearend locks up. i have no neutral or reverse gears. im thinking shift fork but not sure whats up with it. any idea?

Can you crawl under the back, unhook the cable and shift it manually into gear from the transaxle?

cable unhooked. can shift but trans locks up when in reverse. still trys to go foward in neutral.

I've never had one apart. Would be a good idea to post either the model year of the cart/axle, or if you're not sure post a pic of the axle and we could at least ID what you have.

A cheap and possible fix is to find a place with pavement and drive in forward. While the machine is still moving forward but engine is not driving slam into reverse or neutral. This usually unjams the locking ring as that is why you are not getting reverse or neutral.Done this on a few machines.If not then the diff needs to come apart to pop the ring out.
