Default HEAD LIGHT circuit FUSE GETTING HOT - MELTING

Hello All Once Again..

I have a 98 carryall VI, Key start cart...

This problem was there when I purchased my cart... I installed all new head lights and LED tail lights Rewired everything for both head and tail lights per the manual... The lights work fine, Brake lights work as well... Turn signals worked fine intil the lever broke and I have not replaced it yet... So everything works right now but turn signals..

When I turn the lights on the fuse for that circuit gets so hot that it starts to melt the fuse ( 10A ). Fuse block is brand new with all new connectors.... This problem was there prior to rewire everything.. What would cause the fuse to get so hot it melts?

Thanks,

Ant...

fuse holder is loose causing a bad connection which in turn causes heat ... replace fuse box

Sometimes LED lights don't play well with regular lights. Take the LEDs out and see what it does.

Ive never heard of this before either,
But I will try it..

I was also thinking I could split the one circuit into two circuits...
One circuit for the tail lights and another circuit for the head lights..
I would need a switch with two separate 12V inputs and two outputs.. My switch now has one input and one output..

I don't know, Just a thought...

Cheap fuses will do this. Where did you get the fuses?
