Oil leak
Hi, I have a 1995 DS club car w/ a fe 290, engine started stalling, lifted seat up and found oil that had leaked from the fan side of engine, looked like it was coming from the fan cover, it was all over the place and looked like a high pressure leak, any ideas what this might be?

Re: Oil leak
Fan side has a crankshaft seal just like the clutch side. Not really much pressure to speak of, but even a little drip or dribble will get flung all about by that flywheel and fan spinning. Since the coil is on that side I suppose if you built up enough crud it might interfere with spark. I can't say I've ever personally seen that happen, but I can imagine it's possible.

Thank you for responding, I'll get it cleaned up and check the seal, again thank you, Bill Cap.
