1991 gas club car start?
Initial starting problem. Key on, good battery, but very hard to start up. Runs okay after it is warmed up.

Re: 1991 gas club car start?
where are you at? a lot of them old ones are cold blooded. also make sure that the air box lid is on correctly as I have heard that can give you problems.
You are meaning motor is hard to start and not that the generator belt is slipping, correct? -Aaron |

My 89 starts with the pedal almost up. If I floor it on a cold start, it will not start. When I ease up on it, she will start up. Hardly ever use the choke anymore here in central NC.

Re: 1991 gas club car start?
I have a 96 Gasser in NC, everytime on first start I give it 1/4 peddle and choke for 10
seconds, then let off chock, then hold peddle for about 5 more seconds. Then it's good to go for the day ! |
