burning belts
my back clutch on my cc is getting real hot and burning my belts ,brand new belts , thought it might be bad bearing. NEED help please tell me what to cause it if i need a new clutch or what.

no i dont think it is sliping but when you get up to speed it makes a terrible noise but going slow it dont do it

In my mind the only thing that can burn belts if heat from friction?

I would take a good look at it running in maintance mode. I am guessing it needs to be replaced with a new one or have it sent off to be machined/rebuilt.
I have never heard of a belt beign that hot either. -Aaron |

had a high tech spring put on a while back but has been a whie and just started this. replaced buttons on clutch was real badly ate up last week when put back togather started doing this, ps did not have too pull clutch apart to put buttons on.
