Help!!!!!
I was driving my '07 gas club car precident going along just fine. I let off the gas pedal but the engine was still running. I pressed the brake but cart kept slightly going forward. I said enough and cut the key to off position and removed it. The engine continued running. The positive red post on the battery then caught on fire. I've replaced everything since and the cart will not crank or turn over. Any ideas?!?

Re: Help!!!!!
Aozbun you need to keep this cart repair in one thread. If this is the same cart. You have 4 threads about this problem. It's hard to help you when you don't answer the questions your asked . And then start a new thread, about the same thing. Keep this problem in one thread and they will get you fixed up

Re: Help!!!!!
It seems each post has a slightly different story. '06 vs '07. Cart was parked and caught on fire. The engine was running and then caught fire. And then a post with no mention of a fire.

Re: Help!!!!!
when ever a fire starts on a cart, there is serious problem that NO AMATEUR should attempt to correct. Get this cart to a professional and fix it right. If you cannot afford a professional, then you cannot afford a cart.

Cut the key off and kept running? Are you sure you have a gas cart?
