Carb. Question
On 94 DS 290 motor, when you turn screw in on fuel mixture , does that decrease gas mixture ? What I am wondering which way makes the gas richer .

I've been confused about that for years until... well?... just now!
Technically, it's an "idle circuit", (for a smooth idle) Being that pedal start carts don't really ever idle... (and it stops being used the second the throttle plate opens...) a general setting of 1-1/2 to 2 turns out would be a nominal setting. on 4 stroke engines, it's considered a "Fuel" screw, so, yes... turning the screw IN decreases the amount of fuel, (lean) and turning the screw OUT increases the amount of fuel.
