gas club car idle only ?
Have a 93 DS gas Club Car. Been smoking alot lately, but have kept oil level up. Now it starts, but will only putt-putt really slow. Can't rev engine up even when in neutral. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Re: gas club car idle only ?
Are you sure it's actually starting? These carts are started by a starter/generator unit which will cycle the motor on electricity power until it actually fires up. Sometimes guys here will think that their motor is running, but it's really just the s/g cycling the motor (trying to start).
If you're sure that it's starting, can you pop the seat and work the throttle by hand? Might be an issue with your linkage. |

Check your oil for gas, will be milky or runny and you can also smell it, if so that would mean your fuel pump is bad, that would make it smoke and run like crap
