VERY Slow Cranking
Took my '97 DS out of storage today and changed the oil, charged up the batt and put in fresh fuel. The problem I'm having is it is cranking VERY slowly, like the battery is low or not adequate enough to spin the motor fast enough to fire. I had the problem late in the season last year but put it away for the winter and figured I'd tackle the problem in the Spring. What battery is required for this? It has a new (last season) cheapie Walmart battery in it & I suspect that's the problem. Any insight on this?

I use the biggest battery that fits in there.

Re: VERY Slow Cranking
I use a group 70 battery. Not sure of the specs. It's an Interstate.
