Someone please give me a direction to take
Ok guys. I have a 03 DS club car. The body was in bad shape but ran fantastic. So I decided to have the body painted. I took it all the body pieces apart. After I painted it and put it all back together, it won't run. I push the gas pedal and the motor wants to start but it sounds like a car with a dead battery. Just not enough juice to go. But if I jump the solenoid it takes off. I thought it was just because the gear switch wasn't hooked up and therefore I hooked it up so the microswitch was engaged. Still nothing. I am clueless how these things operate.I do know that its obviouslly electricalbut i dont know what all relays or switches are in this thing to make it operate. I know my way around a car motor but with all the microswitches I am clueless. Someone give me some direction please. Thank you.

Hey Dustinwhall welcome. To start with, can you describe in more detail what type of cart you have? What you did etc.?

Re: Someone please give me a direction to take
It is a 2003 Club Car DS. Gas model. I'm not sure of the motor manufacturer. But I have replaced The solenoid. Replaced the ground cable from the battery to the frame. That's all I've done. I'm not sure where to start. It's obviously a electrical issue.

Look up the wiring diagram for your cart. It is somewhere in the "stickies" here. Make sure you have the solenoid wired correctly.

I am rather confident I double checked all my grounds. I know the ground to the batter to the frame is good. How many more are there?

Yes the engine is grounded. That was another thing I checked.

Look in the diagrams I told you about. Check ALL your wiring.
