With stock tires factory speed is 12-14. Easy way to get more is zip tie.search club car zip tie for picture.

Re: What type of speeds are you getting gas Club DS
Depends on your cart and where you use it.
Our DS has 18X9.5X8 Duro Knobbies, no lift. Our terrain is very steep! I was afraid of a lift because it increases rollover risk. I'm afraid of more speed (15 MPH +) because of the two wheel brakes that often are only one at a time. More speed is not a wise option for us with our DS. The Extreme Duty Belt was good idea to get max. power out of the DS. That's my 2 cents. |

20-22 mph on the stock ungoverned 8hp flathead KF82. 6" lift and 22.5" tires. I almost never drive that fast though, probably 17-18mph is as fast as I run it on a normal basis.

Re: What type of speeds are you getting gas Club DS
How (and if) you can adjust those things after a 6" lift depends heavily on your lift. If you're using a spindle lift or a Z-lift, then you can refer to the factory instructions.
My 6" lift is a double A-arm lift that replaced the entire stock front suspension setup from the frame rails to the wheel bearings, so looking up the proper factory procedure for my Club Car would do me no good. Here's the factory instructions for camber and toe-in from my Club Car manual, which is dated January of 1990. But I think these procedures are the same on all DS carts, including electric ones: |

Measure distance between back of tires then in front. Should be 1/4 inch closer in front. I have double a arm. Just loosen nuts and turn same on each side.
